Understanding the Structure of Websites
Dive Deep with Website Pages Counter
Every website tells a unique story. Whether it’s a simple personal blog or a sprawling e-commerce platform, the number of pages and their interconnections can reveal insights about its structure, content strategy, and user experience. The Site Page Counter is a tool tailored to help users, developers, and digital marketers alike to understand a website’s depth and breadth at a glance.
To count the number of pages on a website, we refer to the sitemap of the given URL. Google Search Console also uses this sitemap, as does most every other web crawling tool. Unlike other tools though, we don’t actually load individual web pages and crawl them to depth. We simply collect a list of all URLs at a high level, since the primary function of this tool is to get the total number of pages on a given website.
